Covers chapter 3:14-22. The Church of Laodicea - The Lukewarm Church. This is the seventh and final church of the seven church that Jesus Christ addresses by letter. The tragedy of the Laodicean church was they practiced "lukewarm Christianity". This message will look at this situation from three angles: what is it, what causes it, and what is the cure for it. God always gives us hope to be revitalised, restored and placed back onto the path, and He certainly gives that to this church. However, this is also a stern warning for those that play with Christianity on Sundays rather than live their faith in Christ daily. A cry for the modern church to open up the door to Christ who is often outside, and invite Him back in to be in control.
